Trump Surges Ahead of Kamala Harris in Latest Polls – Is a Red Wave Coming?
Former President Donald Trump is back in the spotlight, and this time he’s leading Vice President Kamala Harris by three points in a new national poll by Rasmussen Reports. That’s right, folks – Trump is ahead with 49% of the vote to Harris’s 46%, showing that the MAGA movement is alive and kicking!
Even when third-party candidates were thrown into the mix, Trump still came out on top. In this scenario, Trump secured 47%, while Harris trailed with 45%, followed by independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at just 4%. It’s clear that even with other contenders in the race, Trump’s support remains strong.
Now, some folks might say Rasmussen is an outlier compared to other national polls, but let’s not forget – Rasmussen was one of the closest in predicting the 2016 election results. While Harris might be averaging a slight lead in some polls, Trump is still dominating where it counts: the battleground states.
Trump is predicted to take 287 Electoral College votes compared to Harris’s 251, sweeping key swing states with the exception of Wisconsin. This prediction comes from RealClearPolitics, which has Trump holding strong in major battlegrounds. And let’s be honest, those battleground states are where elections are won or lost.
It hasn’t been all smooth sailing for Harris. While she enjoyed a brief surge in support after President Biden announced he wouldn’t be running for re-election, that momentum seems to be fading. Even with a month of glowing media coverage – and we all know how the mainstream media leans – Trump has retaken the lead in key polls.
In fact, recent polls from Navigator Research show the race is a nail-biter in states like Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Trump is even leading Harris by a point in Arizona and by two points in Pennsylvania. This comes after earlier polls showed Harris ahead in some of these states, but now it looks like the tide is turning in Trump’s favor.
Interestingly, even some of Harris’s own supporters are starting to doubt the rosy picture being painted by the media. Chauncey McLean, president of Future Forward, a major super PAC backing Harris, recently admitted that their internal numbers aren’t as great as what’s being reported. McLean, who rarely speaks out, revealed that while Harris gained some support from young voters of color after Biden dropped out, there’s still a lot of work to be done.
According to McLean, voters are looking for more than just empty promises – they want to know exactly how Harris plans to improve their lives. It seems that the usual political platitudes aren’t cutting it anymore, and people want real answers about how Harris would differ from Biden and what she’s going to do for the economy.
So, what does this all mean? It means that despite the media’s best efforts, Trump is holding strong, and the fight for the White House is far from over. As we move closer to election day, it’s clear that the American people are looking for a leader who can deliver real results, and Trump’s supporters believe he’s the one to do it. Stay tuned, because this race is just getting started!
