Venezuelan Migrants Take Over Colorado Apartment Building – Residents Left Terrified and Abandoned

A shocking video released on Thursday shows the disturbing reality of the ongoing immigration crisis in Colorado. In the footage, a group of Venezuelan migrants, some armed with guns, are seen storming an apartment building in Aurora City, a suburb just 30 minutes from Denver. This alarming incident is yet another sign that the state’s immigration problems are spiraling out of control.

The doorbell video, obtained by Fox News, captures a terrifying scene as a group of young men, all wearing hoodies or caps, forcefully break into private apartments. Some of them are carrying handguns and long guns, clearly not concerned about hiding their weapons. Residents, now living in fear, believe these men are part of a larger criminal operation. One terrified resident described the situation: “This is organized. They patrol the property with guns visibly, like they’re not trying to hide them. There’s no repercussion. These are ghosts.”

Local authorities suspect that these migrants are connected to Tren de Aragua, or TdA, a notorious gang from Venezuela with over 5,000 members across the Americas. Known for their ruthless motto, “real hasta la muerte” (real until death), TdA members operate with no fear of the law. The New York Post has previously linked this gang to over 100 crimes nationwide, and now, they’re wreaking havoc in Aurora. City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky is convinced that the gang is also involved in sex trafficking within the building, a chilling development for the already terrified residents.

The situation became so dire that Jurinsky and other city officials had to take emergency action to relocate the residents for their safety. John Fabbricatore, a Republican congressional candidate, played a key role in the effort, sharing that he had to borrow money from everyone he knew just to help residents find new homes. “I literally had to borrow from everybody I know to get into a new place. And it’s every bit of money I had,” Fabbricatore told Fox News.

Jurinsky credited Fox News for helping to bring attention to the problem, saying that without their coverage, it would have been nearly impossible to get the residents the help they needed. “Through the help of Fox News actually, they connected us with the councilwoman who, Danielle Jurinsky, pulled together all the resources to get us some help and get us out of there,” one grateful resident shared.

The Aurora City Police Department tried to downplay the situation, stating that they believe TdA’s influence in Aurora is “isolated.” Denver police, meanwhile, claimed they were “not aware” of similar gang activity in their jurisdiction. But these reassurances do little to comfort the residents who have been living in constant fear. One resident described how they were told by police to “stay inside and lock your doors,” a far cry from the protection they expected. “There’s no safety net for you because the police are not coming. They say, ‘Stay inside and lock your doors.’ I have to work! I was paying rent, these people haven’t been paying rent at all. I’ve been paying rent every month for years,” the resident lamented.

Councilor Jurinsky voiced her frustration at the lack of action from the media and other elected officials in addressing the growing problem. “In the entire Denver metro area, it has been like pulling teeth to get anyone, the media, other elected officials, to get anyone to acknowledge the presence of this trend and to acknowledge that there is even a problem,” she told Fox. Another resident shared a heartbreaking conversation with the police, who seemed to have given up on the situation. “I hope [the police] do something because they could have helped me get out. Literally. Their answer for me was, ‘You ever think about moving?’ That’s what they told me when I was like, and I started crying. There’s no help coming for any of us. The police have checked out. They’re not on our side.”

This terrifying situation is a wake-up call for everyone. The immigration crisis in Colorado is out of control, and residents are being left to fend for themselves against dangerous criminals. It’s time for leaders to step up and protect their citizens before more communities fall into chaos.
