Kamala Caught Lying in CNN Interview: Fact-Checkers Expose Her Fracking Flip-Flop

The divide between Republicans and Democrats has never been clearer, and Kamala Harris’s recent interview with CNN only highlighted this gap. The Vice President, running for President in 2024, appeared on CNN alongside Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, her choice for Vice President. Depending on who you ask, the interview was either a grand slam or a complete disaster.

Democrats and the mainstream media are painting the interview as a huge win, celebrating the duo’s performance. But if you listen to Republicans, it was a trainwreck filled with dodged questions and outright lies.

The truth? Well, it doesn’t pick sides. And the facts show that Kamala Harris, more than once, dodged direct questions and lied during the interview.

Even CNN’s own fact-checker, Daniel Dale, known for being anything but a Trump supporter, called out Harris on her dishonesty. One glaring example was when Harris was asked about her flip-flop on banning fracking. Her response? She danced around the truth.

“I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020, that I would not ban fracking. As Vice President, I did not ban fracking. As President, I will not ban fracking,” Harris confidently stated.

CNN’s Dana Bash pressed her, but Harris doubled down. “In 2020, I made very clear where I stand. We are in 2024, and I’ve not changed that position, nor will I going forward. I kept my word, and I will keep my word,” she insisted.

But Daniel Dale wasn’t buying it. He broke down her lies live on air, pointing out that back in 2019, during a CNN climate town hall, Harris clearly supported banning fracking. Dale played the clip where Harris was asked, “Will you commit to implementing a federal ban on fracking your first day in office?” Harris’s response was straightforward: “There’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking. So, yeah.”

Dale continued, noting that during the 2020 general election debate, Harris never clarified that she had changed her position on fracking. Instead, she simply repeated that Joe Biden wouldn’t ban fracking, carefully avoiding her own stance.

“So it makes perfect sense that at the time she was speaking on behalf of Biden,” Dale explained, “But there’s no indication she had abandoned her own 2019 view.”

This is just one example of Harris trying to play both sides, but it’s not flying with the American people. With facts like these coming to light, it’s no wonder her campaign is facing tough questions. Will she keep trying to cover up her past statements, or will she finally come clean? One thing’s for sure: voters aren’t going to forget this one anytime soon.
