JUST IN: Kamala Crashes with Election Bettors After CNN Interview Disaster!

Vice President Kamala Harris’s recent appearance on CNN has left many scratching their heads—and it’s not just the voters who are worried. Betting markets have reacted swiftly, and it’s clear that confidence in Harris is taking a nosedive. The interview, which was supposed to showcase her strengths, turned into a disaster as Harris struggled to answer basic questions about her campaign and often relied on her running mate, Tim Walz, to bail her out.

Breitbart highlighted this shift, noting that Harris, once the favorite to win, is now neck and neck with former President Donald Trump. Just a day before the interview, Harris had a slight edge with odds of 10/11 (52.4%) compared to Trump’s 21/20 (48.8%). But after her less-than-stellar performance, Trump has surged ahead, now standing at 20/21 (51.2%), according to Betfair.

Thursday’s interview was supposed to be Harris’s big moment—the first time she faced the national media in an unscripted format since Joe Biden stepped aside. But instead of reassuring voters, it seems she’s left them more uncertain than ever. William Kedjanyi, a betting analyst with Star Sports, summed it up: “Vice President Harris is now tied at 19/20 with Republican candidate Donald Trump. The Californian had been 5/6 in recent weeks but she has failed to surge ahead of Trump in the market.”

This shift in odds is a clear sign that Trump’s momentum is building as we head into the final stretch of the 2024 race. His allies have long pointed out the media’s tendency to underestimate his support, recalling his shocking 2016 victory. With key swing states like Georgia and Pennsylvania back in play, even some Democrats are starting to voice their concerns.

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) recently admitted that he believes Trump has a real shot at winning Pennsylvania, whether he’s up against Harris or another Democrat. “I think if you match up Trump with Harris, and I think that’s what this is really about, and I do believe he’s going to win Pennsylvania,” Fetterman said. “And I do believe it’s going to be close, but whether it’s Biden, whether it was Clinton, or whether it was with Vice President Harris, I think it’s going to be very close.”

Republican pollster Frank Luntz, who isn’t exactly Trump’s biggest fan, has also noticed something significant. He’s found that Trump is gaining ground among blue-collar union workers—a group that has traditionally leaned Democrat. “I assure you that Donald Trump is doing better among the average union member—trades, people working with their hands. He’s doing better among them than any Republican has done in decades,” Luntz told CNN earlier this month.

With the odds now favoring Trump and the union workers’ support growing, it’s clear that the race for the White House is far from over. Harris and her campaign have a lot of work to do if they want to turn things around, but for now, all eyes are on Trump as he rides this wave of momentum straight into November.
